How We Began

Necessity is the father of invention they say, and that’s how Greyhounds in Motion got our start. With many retired racing Greyhounds in Florida and many homes across the country ready to adopt, the transportation of these pups was an obvious need. In the beginning, volunteers rented vans and drove several dogs at a time. Eventually, we purchased a van of our own. Our territories include: AL, AR, AZ, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, WV

We now have our own adoption program in addition to our transport program.
